In high school I had interests in recording music and cameras. If I had known that my hobbies could pay my bills and fill my soul I would’ve taken a much different path. At the University of Montana I studied filmmaking at the media arts school. After watching a film called “Brothers Keeper”, Documentaries became my favorite genre. I graduated in 2011 and got a cheap camera of my own. I struggled to make enough and over delivered for a couple of years, but I was doin what I loved. In 2012 I was asked by a friend if I’d film a duck hunt, I said yes and had a great time. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to direct, edit and shoot videos that have taken me all over the world for outdoor brands and productions(goHUNT, Slade Northwest Sitka, Cana Outdoors)I’ve also been really fortunate to do things outside of the hunting space. Life is good, I love what I do.

I grew up in the Bay Area, California raised hunting. I developed a strong passion for the outdoors and documenting it in a way that presented its beauty and epicness to those that would never experience it for themselves. I started CANA in 2004, eventually starting the outdoors brand and starting the journey of taking this passion to an industry I knew nothing about. Since the start in 2012 I have experienced what most hunters would consider a lifetime of hunting adventures. I have be honored to work with some of the leading brands in the industry and some of my favorite projects to date. I owe a tremendous amount to this industry for allowing me a new creative outlet and would be honored to play a part in teaching you what I have learned on this journey.
I grew up on the central coast of California spending most of my time filming skateboarding, exploring Big Sur, and playing music. Ben and I started CANA in 2008 and quickly realized our mutual passion for storytelling was moving us into the outdoor industry. 4 years later our outdoor brand was launched, and it has taken us on some of the most challenging and rewarding journeys of my life. I score the music for all our work, and also do lots of camera tech (nerdy) stuff. I love being part of a larger story, and just really love what I do.
